Hello! I’m Rose, a third year Pure Maths major. I’ve been teaching computer science for 2 years, while also working at the ERC library and in STEM outreach. I love socialising, going out for coffee or a meal, playing 500 with my friends, and listening to podcasts.


Fun Fact: I'm super into pop culture. My favourite pop culture podcast is Every Outfit, and I am currently reading Down the Drain by Julia Fox.

Hey! I am a second year MSc student in Physics with the Experimental Particle Physics research group. When I’m not manipulating equations I’m usually manipulating videos - I am passionate about cinematography and have also been doing VFX, editing and 3D animation for a few years now. I also am a committee member of the Filmmakers Collaborative at Unimelb.


Fun Fact: I have a different bone structure in my right hand which causes my right thumb to fold inwards in an odd way - I am incapable of making a perfect C shape with the index finger and thumb on my right hand.

Hi and kia ora! I’m Jarod, a 2nd year PhD student (nerd) from NZ that’s into a weird mix of everything! Currently researching social media polarisation and how generative AI can be used to prevent it, but how it can also be exploited by malicious actors to propagate it (with fixes of course!). My background is in cyber-security, HCI/AI, and a conjoint compsci and international relations undergrad. I’m excited for you all to explore the ever changing world of computing!


Fun Fact: I have a weird mix of music tastes ranging from jpop to metal - and recently went to a Rammstein concert in the Netherlands!
